Tutorial - How to do Lace Braids

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Lacebraids sind die Basis für sehr viele verschiedene Flechtfrisuren,
vor allem Half-Ups, aber auch einfache Flechtzoepfe und Geduttetes
kann man damit super auflockern. Heute also die hier versprochene

 Anleitung:

1. Immer nur Haare von oben hin zu nehmen.

2. Schmale Straehnen abteilen 

3. vor dem Verflechten einmal durchkaemmen - dann kann nichts mehr schief gehen :)

Unten findet ihr verschieden Ideen, man kann sie als half-up tragen, als Flechtzopf (mein Favorit^^) oder einfach offen mit einem seitlichen Zopf. Unten findet ihr übrigens mein Inspirationsbild von Pinterest. Ich liebe diesen mittelalterlichen Look und ausserdem ist sie soo hübsch. Unsere Zoepfe gehen aber weiter seitlich zurück. Ich denke bei ihr tun es auch zwei einfache französische Flechtzoepfe wenn man genug Haare hat. Alle anderen flechten lieber Lacebraids - sie sparen deutlich Volumen.

Here is the tutorial I promised you in the Game of Thrones Post.
A lacebraid is a very good idea to spice up a normal bun, you can style it as well as a half-up or
 even pull everything behind if you want to have big braid with accents. 

Instructions:

1. Only add hair from above your braid

2. comb your hair before you add it

3. add tiny bits of hair and not big chunks! We want to keep it delicate and feminine 

I gathered some ideas how you can style your braids as you can see below. And by the way, here is my inspirational picture I found on Pinterest. She looks absolutely lovely! Two sided braids are great for those of you with a rounder face shape , since they tend to prolong your face a little - both side braids don't go well with my face shape e.g. I prefer to wear them in a bigger braid. Isn't she a beauty! Love the medieval vibe. We start our braids differently though. For her look a simple side french braid would also do I guess.

Double Lace -V

Hi ihr Lieben! 

Heute wieder eine sehr romantische Frisur mit meinen momentanen Lieblingszöpfen, holländischen Lace-Braids. Es war wirklich sehr schwer diese Frisur richtig zu fotografieren, so recht habe ich es auch nicht geschafft, deswegen erst einmal eine ausführliche Beschreibung.

Anleitung:
An beiden Seiten flechtet man holländische Lace Braids die hinten zusammengenommen werden und so das obere V bilden. Das allein ist schon ein sehr hübscher Half-Up. Aber es geht noch weiter. Jetzt teilt man die untere Hälfte der Haare in zwei Teile, man beginnt dicht über dem Ohr zu flechten und gibt den Zöpfen immer mehr Abstand so wie beim Perimeter Braid, dann passt man beide Seiten zusammen - man erhält ein oberes und ein unteres geflochtenes V.

Unten findet ihr eine Video Anleitung von Lilith Moon - Achtung ! ich habe keine französischen Zöpfe sondern holländische geflochten, weil diese glatter werden. Wer noch nie einen Perimeter Braid geflochten hat - hier findet ihr eine gute Anleitung von Siobhan.  Der Perimeter Braid ist nicht so schwer wie er aussieht, beim flechten muesst ihr nur den Zopf ein wenig vom Gesicht wegziehen und dann erhaltet ihr diesen gezogenen Look.

Today again a romantic hairstyle with my current favourite braids - dutch lace braids. It was very difficult to take decent pictures of this hairstyle, I failed somehow so I will give you a more detailed description. On both sides of your head, you will do dutch lace braids and join them on the back of your head so they will form the upper V Shape. Just by itselfs it is a pretty half-up already. So next you will start to braid two perimeter braids. Start close to your ears and continue down, when you are nearly done join your both braids to a single english braid. This creates your second V shape. So in case you have never done a perimeter braid - here is a very good tutorial done by Siobhan.  It is in fact not complicated, everytime you braid you will need to stretch your braid away from your head and keep in mind that it is never loose but has some tension so you will get a regular look. Below you will find the Video Tutorial made by Lilith Moon - be aware that I replaced the french by dutch lace braids - I prefer this look because it is much neater and orderly and gives you a smoother outcome unless you are Lilith Moon - everything she does is frizz free by nature :) However has hair on the curly side like me can tell you a lot about frizz ^^
