Review : Organic Rose Conditioner by URTEKRAM

As you know I am on a never ending quest to find the perfect conditioner and I love to try new brands and formulas out! My newest discovery is actual an old love - URTEKRAM! In the past I have used their Aloe-Vera line, Shampoo and Conditioner. As it happens I completely forgot about URTEKRAM until lately while I was standing at my local Whole-Foods store in search of a new conditioner. I would like to tell you a few things about the danish organic company URTEKRAM first.

The Rose Conditioner is certified by Ecocert and cruelty free as well as vegan. 

Incis: Aqua, aloe barbadensis leaf extract*, glycerin**, cetearyl alcohol, coco-caprylate, glyceryl caprylate, lecithin, olus, sodium cetearyl sulfate, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate se, rosa damascena extract*, pelargonium graveolens oil*, citric acid, magnolia officinalis bark extract, citronellol, geraniol, limonene, linalool, tocopherol, beta-sitosterol, squalene.

The conditioner is based on Aloe Vera which is a big plus! It contains glycerine, rose extract and olus oil which is rapeseed oil. No proteins for those who do not like proteins in their conditioner! The conditioner is good for dry hair and I would say it is medium rich both suitable for very dry, dry and normal hair in my opinion. It does not weight your hair down and it defines my curls very nicely. A huge plus is the smell : it does smell like fresh wild roses. I absolutely love the scent! It does stay in my hair for a while though not very long. It helps detangling and the amount you need to use is average in my opinion, it is neither a very thick nor a very thin conditioner. 

To sum it up - a great conditioner with a heavenly smell which will moisturise your hair nicely. I am excited to try out the Rose Shampoo as well. Definitely a recommendation from me if you are looking for a safe uncomplicated conditioner with good ingredients. They have a fragrance free line as well that I am excited to try out especially the skin-care products.

Review - Yves Rocher I love my planet Shampoo

Yves Rocher's shampoo  (5Euros/300ml) is ecolabeled, biodegradable and has minimal ingredients for shiny and really clean hair. This shampoo will deep clean your hair and not weight it down. It foams and cleans very well and leaves your hair full of volume. I have been using this shampoo for a month now and use it very diluted. It leaves my scalp happy and non-itchy. It says for all hair types and I can really agree!

Incis

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate,Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Parfum, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Salicylic acid, Citrus (Medica Limonum Juice),Tocopherol

It is really plain if you look at the incis. Washing power comes from sodium laureth sulcate and betaine, it contains glycerine for more manageability and that's about it already. There is no oil of aloe vera in it. It will be a good shampoo for fine hair as well although I was surprised that my hair was not dried out too much as well.

Fragrance

It smells like lemons. I think this is a great shampoo during summer because you really feel refreshed after the shower.

The good price, simple ingredients and lovely fragrance get a 8/10! It might be not enough moisture if used over a long time but until now it has worked very well for me. It works well as a clarifying shampoo - something you need to use to get all that sheabutter out of your hair or your coconut oil hair mask. It has a minimum of care incis and I would use it about once every 2-3 weeks ( I wash my hair on a weekly basis).
 Yves Rocher claims that for every sold shampoo they will plant a tree, Yves Rocher has an own environmental organisation, more infos can be found here. They did plant 35 million trees already if you look at their website ticker. I think it is good that Yves Rocher has a nature bound philosophy!

Did you use any Yves Rocher prodcuts lately? What do you think about their philosophy and incis? I find that they sometimes contradict a little if you look closely at some of their product ranges.

Review : Jason Body Enhancing Conditioner

Wer im Winter wie ich mit schwachem strukturlosen und trockenen Haaren zu kämpfen hat muss bei der Pflege natürlich doppelt aufpassen. Nachdem ich einige frustrane Versuche mit Balea Kondis gestartet habe bin ich nachdem diese aufgebraucht waren wieder reumütig zu guter reichhaltiger Naturkosmetik zurück gekehrt. Meine Arganoelkuren mache ich natürlich trotzdem weiter ebenso wie das tägliche Spitzen ölen mit Arganoel.
Der Jason Kondi ist sehr reichhaltig und hat dazu einen wunderbaren blumigen Duft. 

Jason Body Enhancing Conditioner hat eine dicke wachsige cremige Konsistenz. Beim Auftragen lässt er sich somit gut verteilen und ist sehr ergiebig. Er sorgt für mittlere Kaemmbarkeit. Den Duft würde ich blumig beschreiben - er riecht fast so wie der Honeysuckle Conditioner von Aubrey Organics.  Grüner Tee und Kamillenextrakt sowie ein hoher Anteil an Aloe Vera und Jojobaoel sind die Hauptbestandteile. 
Ausserdem ist ein mikroskopischer Anteil an Dimethiconen enthalten, an vorletzter Stelle.

Er sorgt dafuer das das Haar gut gesättigt wird und es wird weich und glaenzend. Ausserdem beschwert der Kondi etwas was für meine Locken super ist - dadurch werden sie definiert. Ich hatte schon lange nicht mehr so einen wahnsinnig schönen Glanz!

8 von 10 Punkte für die hervorragende Wirkung!
Es gibt einen Punktabzug wegen dem Mini Anteil an Silis - nicht wegen der Wirkung ich denke nicht das der geringe Anteil überhaupt eine Auswirkung hat ( ob positiv oder negativ) sondern einfach weil ich finde das gehört nicht in ein Produkt mit dem Slogan Pure, Natural & Organic.


Habt ihr Kondi Empfehlungen für den Winter? Ich hoffe ich bin nicht die Einzige mit wüstentrockenen Haaren ^^

Winter is here and my hair really needs a rich conditioner to prevent breakage and split ends as well as protection from the cold. I used up what I had left as cheaper drug store conditioners from Balea and saw my hair getting dryer and dryer! I returned to natural cosmetic and am very happy with my newest find the Jason Body Enhancing Conditioner.
I am still doing Argan Oil Hair Masks before every hair wash and am putting oil on my ends every morning and evening to prevent splitting. 
The Jason Condi has a very lovely flowery scent.

The consistence is thick, waxy and very rich. Application is fairly easy and a little goes a long way. The detangling effect is intermediate I would say. Green tea and chamomile extract as well as Aloe Vera and Jojobaoil are the main ingredients. A tiny amount of Dimethicone is included as well.

My hair is really heavy and moisturised with this great product! I have a lot of shine and normally that's not too easy for me because I have curly hair. It helps defining curls as well.

Price : 5 CAD for 16 FL OZ and I got it from a local Health Food Store.

Simply because he contains dimethicone and I think a brand that claims to be pure, natural and organic is a little off with the incis. Nevertheless a great conditioner and recommendation for dry hair
during winter.

Lavera My Age Eye cream

Sie hat eine sehr pflegende Formel allerdings ohne fettig zu wirken - sie war mein Liebling unter den Produkten. Da ich eine sehr empfindliche Augenpartie habe hatte ich erst Angst allergisch zu reagieren - aber ich habe sie sehr gut vertragen! Sie ist prima unter einem Concealer und sorgt dafuer das kleine Faeltchen gemindert werden. Ein Tipp fuer die Sensibelchen unter euch.

Trend Sensitiv double black Mascara

Sie ist die beste NK Mascara die ich bis jetzt hatte. Sie hat zwei unterschiedliche Buerstchen - einmal mit Volumeneffekt und einmal einen Längeneffekt. Ich habe sie immer abwechselnd getragen - d.h. erst einmal Laenge, dann trocknen lassen, dann mit dem Volumenbuerstchen getuscht. Das Ergebnis seht ihr hier unten. Nicht schlecht. Allerdings hat sie ein Manko das viele NK Tuschen haben - nach 4 h habe ich eine Menge Fallout - das sind kleine schwarze Pünktchen unter den Lidern. Per se nicht die Schuld der Mascara - sondern eher ein NK Problem.

Trend Sensitiv Soft Eyeliner in golden brown

Ich trage gerne Eyeliner sowohl in fluessiger Form als auch als Stift und eines ist dabei schrecklich - wenn der Eyeliner keine Farbe abgibt bzw. man kraeftig druecken muss weil er zu fest ist (und das am Auge!). Dieser hier ist super, er ist sehr cremig und gibt sofort Farbe ab, so dass man ihn sogar in der Wasserlinie verwenden kann. Die Farbe ist eher ein kuehles Braun und wirkt sehr natuerlich. Er ist auch noch in grau und schwarz erhaeltlich. Falls ihr gerne Eyeliner tragt - schaut euch diesen mal an, es ist bis jetzt der Beste den ich kenne sowohl im NK als auch im KK Bereich. Ausserdem hat er auch eine Schwaemmchen Seite - super um die harten Linien zu verwischen.

Trend Sensitiv Beautiful Eyeshadow

Der Eyeshadow broeckelt nicht und hat eine feste pudrige Konsistenz. Die Farbabgabe ist gut, allerdings ist er eher schwach pigmentiert, so dass man auf den Lidern nur einen Schimmer und Hauch von Farbe erkennt - zumindest war das der Fall bei meinem hellen rose Ton. Man muesste mal die dunkleren Nuancen testen und schauen wie die Pigmentierung dort ausfaellt. Ein absolutes Highlight ist allerdings der integrierte Klappspiegel - unter dem Lidschatten ist ein kleiner Drehspiegel angebracht.

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich von Lavera eine Reihe Kosmetik Produkte geschickt bekommen und wusste nicht so recht, was ich denn schreiben soll - mit Haaren ja - da kenne ich mich super aus. Make-up ueberlasse ich lieber den Beauty Bloggern. Aber ein schoenes schlichtes Augen - Make Up schaffe ich auch. Einige Produkte haben mich durchweg ueberzeugt - besonders der Kajal und die Augencreme ist super!

Hello Lovelies!

I am excited to share new lavera products with you for a dazzling eye make-up! I am not a beauty expert but I loved how these products worked out and that they are all organic and full of great ingredients. 

My favourite is the soft eyeliner in golden brown - it is creamy, super soft, long lasting and stays for hours! I wish they would offer more shades grey, black and brown are available for now.

My other favourite was the eye cream my age. I have been looking for a good eye cream for sensitive skin for ages and I am so happy that this one works so well. It is not oily and will moisturise your skin without ruining your eye make-up.  

The mascara double black has two sides one for volume and one for length, it worked great as well, it has been the best from all organic mascaras I have tried so far - however there was quite some fall out after a few hours. I had this issue with all my mascaras hat's why I prefer a commercial product like le volume by Chanel. The mono eyeshadow in rose has an amazing packaging, below is a small mirror with an applicator and the consistency is very powdery and smooth. The pigmentation was not high, as you can see on the picture - it is barely visible. Maybe the darker shades have a higher pigmentation and would be more recommendable.

Review: Haircare by Phyto - Shampoo and Conditioner

Ich freue mich sehr euch heute Pflegeprodukte von Phyto vor-zustellen. Ich konnte Shampoo, Spülung und Tagescreme testen. Alle Produkte habe ich ca. 3 Wochen ge-testet. Erhältlich sind die Produkte in Apotheken und Fachgeschäften. 

Über Phyto:

• die meisten Produkte sind nicht vegan,da teilweise Bienenhonig, Eier und Bienenwachs verwendet wird

• tierversuchsfrei, keine zertifizierte Naturkosmetik, jedoch wird ein hoher Anteil an natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen verwendet

• ca. 90 % der Produkte sind aus pflanzlichem Ursprung, Phyto bezieht die Rohstoffe aus Plantagen in Südfrankreich 

• gegründet wurde die Firma von Patrick Ales 1967 - einem französischem Friseur, der den Schaden der Stylingprodukte an seinen Kundinnen feststellte - Phyto gehört nun zum Ales Group Konzern und wird international vertrieben

• pflanzliche Extrakte und Inhaltsstoffe sind die Hauptbestandteile der Produkte - ähnlich wie Giovanni ist Phyto eco-friendly

Conditioner:

Phytobaume Hydratation 

für normales bis trockenes Haar 

13 Euro für 150 ml

Inhaltsstoffe: 

Angelica Archangelica See Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Water, Ricinoleamidopropyltriminium Methosulfate,Cetrimonium Chloride, Dipalmitoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed oil, Decyl Glucoside, Ceteareth-20, Fragrance,Tetrasodium EDTA, Benzophenone-4, Citric Acid, Methylisothiazolinone, Phosphoric Acid

Neben pflanzlichem Angelica Extrakt und chemischen Glaettungshilfen ist hier Jojobaöl vorhanden. Jojobaöl ist ein Wachs das sich sehr gut zur Haarpflege eignet und vor allem die Haaroberfläche glättet. Keine Parabene oder Silikone.

Anwendung:

Nach dem Waschen soll man eine haselnussgrosse Menge im Haar verteilen. Bei mir war es natürlich deutlich mehr, weil meine Haare so lang sind. Ich habe ca. 3 walnussgrosse Mengen benötigt. Beim Auftragen hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Spülung nicht sehr ergiebig ist. Ich hatte auch nicht das Gefühl, dass man die Haare beim Auftragen gut entwirren kann. Beim Ausspülen jedoch hat sie sich dann doch auch gut als Kämmbarkeits-Hilfe erwiesen. Sie ist eher eine Pflege-Spülung (so ähnlich wie die Khadi Honig Spülung) und keine klassischen Kämmbarkeits - Spülung. 

Duft:

Sie riecht nach Kokos. Und nicht nach irgendeinem Kokos sondern nach Kokosmakronen. Also wirklich ein sehr schöner Duft, wenn man Kokos mag.

Wirkung:

Erst habe ich gedacht, die Spülung sei eher zu leicht für meine von Natur aus sehr trockenen Haare. Beim trocknen habe ich allerdings die schönsten Locken gehabt - ich denke sie ist gerade für Lockenköpfe und zur CO gut geeignet. Ich denke auch in Kombi mit zusätzlichem Öl wird sie sich sehr gut machen. Es ist keine extrem reichhaltige Spülung. Glanz hielt sich in Maßen. Die Haare waren danach sehr weich und ziemlich voluminös. 

Fazit:

Wahrscheinlich würde ich eher die Spülung Reparateur benötigen, diese war leider nicht reichhaltig genug. Sie ist eher für Mädels ohne extrem trockene Haaren geeignet.

Hier haben wir keine Parabene, keine Sulfate. Es ist ein Shampoo mit vielen verschiedenen Proteinen neben Weizenproteinen sind auch Mais- und Sojaproteine zugesetzt. Verschiedene PEGs und Quats die als Weichmacher und Kämmbarkeitshilfen wirken. Ausserdem ein Honigderivat und Granatapfelextrakt. Glycerin als Feuchtigkeitsspender. 

Anwendung:

Das Shampoo liess sich sehr gut verteilen, aufschäumen und ausspülen. Ich habe es unverdünnt verwendet und meine empfindliche Kopfhaut hat es sehr gut vertragen. Noch etwas nebenbei - meine kleine Testgröße war in einer Aluminium Flasche. Da das Shampoo sehr flüssig war, liess es sich trotzdem prima verwenden.

Duft:

Der ist wirklich toll. Absolut frisch, cremig seifig und ein bisschen pudrig. Wer frische Düfte von Dove und Nivea mag, wird diesen weichen pudrigen Duft auf jeden Fall lieben. 

Wirkung:

Haar sauber, weich und ziemlich fluffig. Was will man mehr. Das Shampoo hat mich überzeugt.

Fazit: 

Super Shampoo mit sehr guten Inhaltsstoffen und tollem Duft. Die Proteine sorgen für Halt und Fülle und sind besonders gut, wenn dir z.B. durch Blondieren und Färben Proteine fehlen. Die Anwendung ist unkompliziert und das Shampoo ist super für jeden Tag geeignet.

Die Tagecreme Phyto 7 bekommt noch ihr eigenes Review, da sie ziemlich speziell ist. Interessant fand ich auch die Essigspuelung, die man wie eine saure Haarrinse ausspült und das Haarserum. Beide Produkte habe ich jedoch nicht getestet. Die Firma Phyto hat ebenso Spezialprodukte für Haarausfall und sogar ihre eigene NEMs Linie im Sortiment.
